Schools Tree Day - Regeneration

Students learn that despite the initial devastation, these landscapes can recover and thrive over time, much like personal healing or overcoming challenges. Through a silent nature walk, students develop a deeper connection with the regenerative process, using their senses to observe new growth and life. The unit emphasises the role of human intervention in supporting natural regeneration and encourages students to become stewards of the environment. By the end of the unit, students gain a greater appreciation for the resilience of nature and their own role in preserving and restoring ecosystems for a sustainable future.
