Exploring Climate Change and Environmental Responsibility

In this unit, students will learn about climate change and sustainability through a variety of activities. They will participate in the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, designing cars that are both innovative and sustainable. They will also investigate the impact of human activity on the environment, including the importance of recycling and the impact of consumer choices. Through a creative writing task and investigation of product life cycles, students will gain a deeper understanding of the environmental, social, and economic impact of the products they use. Finally, they will explore ecological footprints and brainstorm actions they can take to reduce their impact on the environment.
