Activity summary
“Why does that person…” is a question most children will ask at some point. In this activity, children discover and discuss physical differences between people with a focus on disabilities and assistive technology. They explore identity and how physical appearance is just one part of who a person is. This is a ‘Find Out’ activity following on from reading Little Miss Jessica Goes to School by Jessica Smith.
