Activity summary
The animated series Bluey serves as a valuable tool in fostering children's development of imagination, curiosity, and social and emotional learning. This activity uses intentional teaching strategies to focus on the capability of 'perseverance'. Children will explore perseverance by learning a new skill. They focus on trusting themselves to give new experiences a try and use simple statements like ‘I believe I can do it’ to help them succeed. This activity is a fun way to attempt a new challenge and can be used to find out what it takes to be persistent and persevere to achieve a new skill.
