The animated series Bluey serves as a valuable tool in fostering children's development of imagination, curiosity, and social and emotional learning. Using this tool the resources in this unit support emotional and social learning and oral language development by using a creativity focus and a values framework. Each lesson uses intentional teaching strategies to develop a specific value, such as kindness, inclusion, sharing, listening or achievement and by keeping creativity and imagination at the heart of each lesson, it encourages kids to role-play whilst developing their mental and emotional resilience.
Educators, parents and caregivers will find a wealth of information about evidence-based strategies that are supported by research.
