Course summary

Continually we are emphasising the importance of reflection during our students’ learning, yet have very little time to reflect ourselves. Reflecting on our practice helps us to improve and learn as we move through our careers, just as it improves our students’ outcomes. We, as well as our students, are learning every day, and we need to make time to take in and absorb that learning. In this course, we will consider the practice of reflecting and how to do so in our own work, in our classroom practice and when addressing the overall needs of our students.

You will learn:

  • the benefits of reflecting on practice
  • how reflection can be authentically incorporated into your professional development
  • a variety of reflection methods and questions
  • the keys to confidently kick off your reflection on your practice immediately
