Lesson summary

Students will explore the concept of mindfulness and its associated benefits. They will learn a range of mindfulness techniques and how to apply them to their lives. Students will develop their own mindfulness tools and set goals/intentions for their mindfulness practice.

  • explore the benefits of mindfulness and practice techniques they can use for different purposes.

Students can...

  • explain what mindfulness involves and list some activities they enjoy that can help them practise mindfulness
  • summarise mindfulness techniques and identify those they’d like to apply to their everyday life
  • create their own mindfulness tools and set some personal goals/intentions.
