Lesson summary

Students reflect on how their mindset can influence 4 areas of health: movement, recovery, nutrition and mindfulness. They are taught how to identify their inner hero and villain (positive and negative mindset) and apply this strategy to respond to a range of scenarios.

  • discover how positive and negative mindsets and self-talk can impact their thoughts and actions towards physical health.

  • give examples of positive and negative self-talk and mindsets
  • discuss how their mindset and self-talk can impact their physical health
  • apply their growing knowledge of positive self-talk to practise responding to a range of real-world scenarios.
