Creative Sustainability: Using Art to explore Sustainable Practice
This unit focuses on exploring sustainability through creativity, specifically through art. Students will learn to analyze artworks and explore how ideas around sustainability can be conveyed through artwork. They will create their own representations of sustainability and investigate ways that members of their community can make a positive change towards a sustainable future. The unit includes activities such as upcycling, political and environmental cartoons, and designing a sustainable school.
