Disaster Resilience Education - Natural Hazards and Emergency Preparedness

This unit is focused on educating students about natural hazards in their local environment and ways to reduce risk, prepare, respond and recover from disasters or emergencies. The unit includes various activities such as researching natural hazards in their local area, creating infographics to educate the community, exploring positive impacts of natural hazards on environments, conducting emergency drills, and hands-on STEM building challenges related to natural hazards.
