In this thought-provoking unit, students will explore the barriers to inclusion in sport and the importance of diversity within sporting communities such as the Collingwood Football Club. They will reflect on their own experiences and investigate real-world examples to understand how exclusion impacts individuals and communities. Through research, critical thinking, and practical activities, students will identify solutions for improving inclusivity in local sporting clubs and beyond.

By the end of the unit, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to challenge assumptions, create action plans, and advocate for inclusive practices that promote diversity in their communities using Collingwood Football Club’s initiatives and programs as inspiration.
