Activity summary
This experience is designed to help students develop the skills to pack and unpack their bags independently and also provides an opportunity to get to know their educator/s at the beginning of the year. Children help the educator pack a bag and then roleplay packing bags with all the things they need to go on an adventure. This is a ‘Tune In’ social-emotional learning experience that encourages students to use imaginative role play and storytelling.

- bags and small backpacks for the children to use during roleplay
- items for the teacher to pack into their bag for their overnight sleepover
- items for students to use in roleplay such as toys, home corner items, dress-ups and accessories.
