Activity summary
Trying new things can be exciting, but can also make us feel a bit nervous. In this activity, children explore the feelings they get from trying new sports, and practice naming and managing the emotions that can come along with new experiences. This is a ‘Find Out’ activity following on from reading Charlie’s Tales: Peggy and the Fantastic Football by The Pretty Foundation.
