Lesson summary
In this activity students investigate the topic of geoengineering. Working in groups students analyse one geoengineering scheme and justify it scientifically and technologically, and assess its environmental and social costs and benefits. Students then create a presentation to share their analysis with the class.

- recognise that there are costs and benefits associated with geoengineering solutions
- understand some of the environmental costs of geoengineering
- understand some of the social costs of geoengineering.
