Lesson Summary

Students will explore terminology around waste by looking at waste synonyms and will consider how different waste terms might be used in different contexts. Students will also explore which waste disposal systems are suitable for different types of waste.

Learning intentions

Students will:

identify synonyms for topic-specific vocabulary on waste.

Success criteria

Students can:

apply their knowledge of waste to sort 'waste' into correct disposals
provide feedback to a peer.
