In today’s digital world, it’s crucial for students to develop a strong understanding of online safety and respectful interactions.

This collection of lessons, developed in partnership with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s eSmart program, focuses on empowering students to navigate the digital world safely and respectfully. Through engaging activities like role play, mini challenges, and a digital emoji challenge, students explore the differences between online and offline interactions and the impact of context. By using the 4C guidelines (content, contact, conduct, and compulsion), students will develop strategies for fostering safe and respectful relationships both online and offline, building essential digital literacy skills to confidently engage in the digital world.

These lessons are designed for young learners to ensure they are equipped with essential digital and media literacy skills, empowering them to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
