Go to

This unit focuses on teaching students about sustainable recycling practices through a variety of activities and lessons. Students will learn about the Australasian Recycling Label scheme and the environmental benefits of recycling electronic devices such as mobile phones and printer cartridges. They will also explore the concept of circular economy and planned obsolescence, and learn about the impact of choosing recycled products. Students will engage in collaborative and individual projects, such as creating a Recycle Rescue Trivia Quiz, choreographing a dance with a sustainability message, and conducting surveys and data analysis on recycling behavior and waste management. The unit aims to develop students' knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards sustainable recycling practices and encourage them to take action towards creating a more sustainable future.
