This unit of short activities has been developed to support you in undertaking nature-based mindfulness practices with your students. Designed to punctuate the day and be used before, during or after class, these activities allow students to explore their connection to nature and enhance their present-moment focus through sensory observation and guided practice.
Mindfulness is a method for nurturing our minds, understanding their current state, and making thoughtful decisions about how to engage with them. Use these guided mindfulness experiences in any year level or subject to develop these capabilities in your students as well as improve their natural awareness and improve their concentration and focus.
