The unit includes a range of sequential nature-based mindfulness practices, each designed to punctuate the day and allow for present moment focus with awareness of students’ connection to nature. The unit covers topics such as grit, time spent in nature and its benefits for health and well-being, emerging car technologies, food webs, and local biodiversity issues.
