This unit is designed for a flipped classroom, where students will learn new content by watching a video in their own time. This strategy provides the opportunity for students to build their knowledge, attitudes, and values by themselves, thereby freeing up class time for hands-on work. In this unit, students will examine the principles of sustainability and evaluate their importance for the future of our planet. They will analyze current practices and learn about how to reduce waste, conserve resources, and protect the environment. Through various activities, students will gain an understanding of the importance of sustainability and how it relates to their daily lives. By the end of the unit, students will be able to identify sustainable practices and create an action plan to reduce their environmental impact.
