Lesson summary

This lesson explores key themes showcased in the AFLW ‘Our Stories’ vlog-doc: â€˜A New Hero – Sabrina Frederick-Traub’. Students view a clip that showcases Sabrina and her views on the value of respecting diversity. Students experience diversity through a peer-to-peer interview that illustrates a difference in viewpoints within the same classroom. They build a deeper understanding of diversity by sharing their own experiences of diversity and connect the experiences with how respect for diversity can contribute to people’s well-being.
