This unit of lessons is designed to engage students with the documentary film 2040 and inspire them to take action towards creating a sustainable future. Students will explore a range of topics, including climate change, empowering women and girls, persuasive techniques, and point of view, all through the lens of sustainability. Through collaborative activities and real-world problem-solving, students will develop a 2040 vision for their community and take social action towards bringing that vision to life.

2040 is proudly distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Madman Entertainment. The Schools Version includes an educational license, allowing you to play it in class as a learning tool or even host on-site screenings for your school community.

Cool.org, GoodThing Productions and Regen Pictures would like to acknowledge the generous contributions of Good Pitch Australia, Shark Island Institute, Documentary Australia Foundation, The Caledonia Foundation and our philanthropic partners in the development of these teaching resources."
