This unit, developed in partnership with The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria, aims to educate students from around Australia about the importance of agriculture and farming in our daily lives. Through various lessons, students will explore the different aspects of agriculture, such as food and fibre production, farming jobs, supply chains, and the role of agricultural shows like the Royal Melbourne Show. They will work in groups, participate in guided discussions, create TV-style reports and posters, and learn to develop their ideas and present their findings to the class.
