Lesson Summary

After exploring the benefits and impacts of the Containers for Change Initiative throughout this unit, it’s time for students to make their own impact on their community. By creating a behaviour change campaign video, students will be able to connect with their local community and promote the social, economic and environmental benefits of participating in Containers for Change.

Learning intentions

Students will:

plan, create, edit and publish written and multimodal texts by creating a promotional video

Success criteria

Students can:

use digital tools to film
use digital tools to edit a video
use relevant and inviting backdrops
make use of specific persuasive techniques
identify and include pertinent information
engage the audience through vocabulary, intonation and gesture.
