Students will explore the difference between dehumanising and humanising behaviours and how these can manifest into racist attitudes and beliefs. They will examine the power of values, and how the value of kindness can act as a powerful antidote to hatred.
It is recommended that this lesson is delivered as part of the Tackling Racism Through Sport unit. This will help students to strengthen their understanding of these concepts and inspire them to have healthy and constructive conversations about race and racism. It may also support students to challenge racist behaviours and attitudes in themselves and others.
