The unit is focused on teaching students about various aspects of science and nature through hands-on activities and investigations. The K-W-H-L thinking tool is used throughout the unit to help guide student learning and assess their understanding. Activities include observing and studying insects, creating worm farms, planting seeds and watching them grow, and experimenting with surface tension.
