Sustainable Energy and Resource Management

This unit focuses on sustainable energy and resource management for primary school students. The unit includes activities such as identifying behaviours and rules that help manage energy consumption in the classroom, creating a class booklet with conclusions about reducing energy use at school and at home, investigating symbols that communicate energy use, and gathering data to determine the number of appliances in the classroom.

Throughout the unit, students are encouraged to think critically about energy and resource consumption, and to develop strategies for reducing waste and protecting the environment.
