In this unit of work, students learn about various aspects of water management and conservation. They evaluate water-related websites, examine the consequences of no water, investigate the freshwater situation in different regions, and identify water-related issues. They also learn about sustainable use of water resources and the global systems that impact water supply. Throughout the unit, students are encouraged to think critically and consider the economic, social, and environmental impacts of different water management strategies.
