Lesson summary

Students explore how their mindset can be shaped by external factors such as their relationships and environment. By recognising their behavioural patterns, students will be more self-aware and empowered to manage these factors more effectively and take charge of their own mindset.

Learning intentions:

Students will...

  • investigate how different relationships can impact on their own and others’ health and wellbeing.

Success criteria:

Students can...

  • describe positive and negative self-beliefs and how these can be influenced by different people and settings
  • evaluate how their self-beliefs can impact their mood, behaviour and relationships
  • demonstrate some strategies to help them practise a positive mindset and reduce the impact of negative influences.
