This unit focuses on students' understanding of energy sources and their reliance on them. Through various activities, students will explore the environmental, ethical, and financial barriers to providing energy for the world's population. They will also learn about different energy sources and compare their long-term viability.

By the end of this unit, students will have a strong understanding of energy sources and their impact on the environment, and will be able to think critically about the long-term viability of different energy sources. They will also have developed skills in communication, research, data analysis, and problem-solving, as well as a commitment to becoming energy-efficient and sustainable individuals.
